New Conservatory theater - Locusts have no king

On Saturday, April 22, about 12 MAX SF members and friends enjoyed a pre-theater dinner at Max Opera Cafe on Van Ness Ave. in San Francisco, then attended the West Coast premiere of "Locusts Have No King," a well-acted but very bizarre play that was part dark comedy, part psychological drama, and part horror story about four gay clergyman who are paired together as two couples, but also are sleeping with one another, which fuels their anger and jealousy of one another. The play was performed at New Conservatory Theater.
