About Mahjong

Mahjong is a classic game of skill, strategy, and calculation, with a hint of chance. Originating in China, it is typically played with four players and involves a set of 144 tiles based on Chinese characters and symbols. The objective is to build a winning hand by drawing and discarding tiles, much like rummy. The game requires astute focus, sharp memory, and the ability to adapt to the evolving landscape of the tiles in play.

Whether you're a seasoned player or new to the game, Mahjong night promises to be a delightful experience. It's a fantastic opportunity to learn and enjoy the rich and ancient tradition of Mahjong, meet new friends, and engage in some friendly competition!

Time: 6:00 PM

Cost is $25.00 per person for members and $35.00 for non-members. No refunds after March 14.

Enjoy a selection of good wines and delicious light appetizers included during the event.

There will be a brief introduction to the rules of Mahjong for those who are new to the game.
