Optional Pre-MOMA Lunch

For those attending SFMOMA and who would like lunch beforehand, join MAX at the nearby Tropisueno (75 Yerba Buena Lane) sited approximately one block from SFMOMA. For lunch, Tropisueno is set up like a limited-service Mission-style taqueria whereby diners order and pay at the food counter, and then sit down at unreserved open tables. In contrast, dinner is sit-down full service. The lunch menu offers many Mexican favorites, including burritos, tacos, tortas, soups, combination plates and more. Tropisueno also has a full bar. We will meet in front of Tropisueno at 11:30am, which would enable us to finish lunch in ample time to walk over and partly explore MOMA before the 2:00pm social gathering with MAX and other LGBTQ attendees on the 4th floor. If you arrive late for lunch, just look for and join MAX members already seated.
