Join event champion Bruce Cecil as we go see "Locusts Have No King" at the New Conservatory Theater at 25 Van Ness Ave., just off Market Street in San Francisco. MAX has secured 10 tickets, all together in a group, in premier seating. Tickets are $45 for MAX members and $50 for non-MAX members (this discounted price includes all service fees). A wait list will be available for possible additional discounted tickets. Reserve and pay for the show here.
The show is written by a queer Puerto Rican/Dominican playwright. It is about two closeted gay couples who work together, live in the same apartment building, but can’t stand one another. They get together for a dinner party, where all hell breaks loose. This link will tell you more about the play: https://www.nctcsf.org/22-23-Season/Locusts-Have-No-King
Optional Pre-show Dinner: We also will meet at 5:45 pm for dinner and drinks beforehand at Max's Opera Cafe (601 Van Ness Ave. at Opera Plaza in San Francisco). If you wish to join us for the pre-show dinner, register SEPARATELY by clicking on the link for the NCTC Pre-Show Dinner for "Locusts Have No King."
Deadline to register and pay for both the show and the optional pre-show dinner is April 14. No refunds will be allowed after that date. For additional information, contact Bruce at bruce.cecil@maxsf.org.
For MAX events that feature alcohol, we strongly encourage you to take public transportation, a cab/Uber/Lyft, walk, or have a designated driver. Please drink responsibly.
