Celebrate Chinese New Year with MAX at one of San Francisco's most authentic Chinese restaurants, Hong Kong Lounge. Join event champion, Jim Tom, to welcome the Year of the Water Rabbit. The Chinese zodiac considers the rabbit to be the luckiest of the twelve animals. Famous figures born in the Year of the Rabbit include Albert Einstein, Frank Sinatra and Brad Pitt. 

Our 10-course meal is a menu that features some traditional dishes specifically served at the New Year. Menu includes appetizer platter, crab meat w/fish maw soup, dried oyster & dried scallop with hair moss, abalone w/mushrooms, house special steamed chicken, prawns over rice noodle, pan fried sea bass, mango pudding, and more.

Cost is $76 for members and $86 for non-members, including all tips and taxes. This price includes wine donated by MAX. No refunds for cancellations after January 20^th. Space is limited to 27 people, so dues-paying members and their guests will have first priority. Registration initially will be opened for the first 10 days only to dues-paying members and a guest. Hong Kong Lounge is located at 5322 Geary Boulevard (Btwn 17th & 18th Ave) in the Richmond District. Reasonable garage parking is available at the Geary Mall Garage (Walgreen's & Ross building) located one-block away. Garage entrance is on 16th Avenue, about 75 feet north of the northwest corner of Geary and 16th Ave.
