Join event champion Bruce Cecil as we go see "A Picture of Two Boys" at the New Conservatory Theater at 25 Van Ness, just off Market Street in San Francisco. This is a world premiere play by Nick Malakhow. In it, two friends want to escape their mostly white, not-so-secretly racist town in rural Pennsylvania. One dreams of college and big cities, while the other just wants to be next to Kurt Cobain. They separate, but a decade later, reunite and rediscover their shared history.
MAX has secured 10 tickets, all together in a group, in premier seating. Tickets are $45 for MAX members and $50 for non-MAX members (this discounted price includes all service fees). To reserve and pay for the show, go to https://maxsf.org/event-4915206. Deadline to register is Nov. 6. No refunds will be allowed after Nov. 6.
Optional Pre-show Dinner: We also will meet at 6:00pm for dinner and drinks beforehand at Max's Opera Cafe (601 Van Ness at Opera Plaza). If you wish to join us for dinner, please pay $10 to reserve your spot. This helps us arrange the correct number of seats at the restaurant. At the restaurant, we will return the $10 to you in cash, and everyone will pay individually for what they choose to eat or drink. To pay to reserve a spot for the dinner, go to: https://maxsf.org/event-4975148 Deadline for the dinner reservation is Nov 16, and no refunds will be allowed after Nov. 16.
