This Event Has Been Canceled Due to the COVID-19 Coronavirus
The safety and security of our community is MAX's highest priority. In canceling events, we are following the lead of our city, state, and federal elected officials as well as the recommendations of Riverside County Public Health and the Centers for Disease Control (CDC).
Note: As of March 14th, 2020, the Palm Canyon Theatre announced that this performance is going on as scheduled, but there will be no MAX event associated with this performance.
The cast of Sordid Lives puts a comedic twist on this character-driven story of unconditional love, acceptance and "coming out" in a Texas family. When Peggy, a good Christian woman and family matriarch, hits her head on the sink and bleeds to death after tripping over her lover’s wooden legs in a motel room, chaos erupts in Winters, Texas, as the family converges for Peggy's funeral.
Sordid Lives is presented by the Palm Springs Theatre, the Palm Springs regional non-profit repertory theater company. The venue, the Palm Canyon Theatre is located at 538 North Palm Canyon Drive, at the corner of Alejo and N. Palm Canyon Drive, across from Koffi. Those interested in brunch before the show were offered the opportunity to gather beforehand at Bongo Johnny's (301 North Palm Canyon Drive, Suite 200, Palm Springs). The brunch is canceled as well.
