On the heels of a sold-out red wine tasting party, MAX is again hosting a wine tasting at Joel Barish’s home. This time it will be Japanese sake tasting, which is appropriate in that you will be surrounded by a collection of Japanese (and Western) art. In between tastes, you will be able to try interesting Japanese delights, such as manju, mochi and difuku (and more), and learn a bit about the art collection.
The date is Friday, 18 January, starting at 7:30 PM. The event will be near the CalTrain depot/ AT&T Park. About one week before the event, Joel will send registered guests directions how to get to his home.
Please be on time as the doors will close at 7:45 PM!
The price is $20 for MAX paid-up members, and $25 for others and guests. The event is limited to 24 guys only, then it will be closed.
Unfortunately, there can be no refunds because of the purchasing that must be accomplished before the party.
All participants must be age 21 or older and no pets/psychodogs will be welcome.
Click REGISTER on the left to pay and reserve your space(s).
Attire is casual, but wear heavy socks because you will leave your shoes at the door.
You will have a good time and learn a great deal about Japanese sake, snacks, and art!
